| 19:52:02 Jul 2nd 10 - Mr. Path: Not that I've ever gotten within 10 feet of one, but the Ford GT40 has always had a special spot in my imagination. For being built in the mid 60s, it had power and performance that still puts many modern "supercars" to shame. It was built purely as a race car, but its appearance is just stunning. From the front it looks fast and beautiful, but the twin pipes coming out the back make it look like some kind of damn space age rocket. However fast it looked, it went even faster. I still to this day wonder how they stuffed a 7 liter engine into some versions of that little car. | ||||

They gawk over it's "omg top speed yo" (upper 250/low 400's iirc) and "omg acceleration yo"(0-60/0-100 in like 2 seconds iirc) when in reality they'll never use close to half it's potential power. Either that or the Veyron is just so out of reach for even millionaires that nobody thinks of it. But I'd consider a Challenger, Charger, Mustang, Viper, Corvette, Porsche, Lambo a good car. I don't think the Veyron looks bad... It looks quite good and I bet sounds awesome. | ||||

| 17:55:41 Jul 8th 10 - Mr. Adakis: This is my car - (I'm from Michigan...the one time auto capital of the world) - I'm used to all the old suped-up american muscle...which does hold some merit, but from a design point of view they generally fall short for me). So the second is my actual (been rebuilding her slowly....she has too much rust underneath to really get her up to my spec). The first is the car i'll be buying in the next year if the global economy doesn't fail first. The second has almost 400bhp...so that should hold me over :). | ||||
